Hi! I'm Liza

I am a bilingual and multiculturally sensitive counselor and coach. While I have lived in Denver, Colorado for so many years, I was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  I have experience working in community mental health settings with a diverse population with a wide range of diagnoses.  

 

I earned a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, Communications, and Theater from Universidad del Sagrado Corazon.

 

Personal and professional experiences helped me to gain a deeper understanding of complex mental health issues and human development in general.  Working with humans when they feel most vulnerable and raw is an honor to me. Therefore, I embrace the space with genuine care, respect, and openness for you.  I believe in promoting one’s inner resources, resiliency, and power.  While mental health and personal growth and development is one of my passions, I also enjoy working on my music project, performing, and singing. I am passionate about connecting with others with zest while also embracing life fully.
